摘要:
根据断裂的地质、地貌特征和卫星影像资料,阐述了老挝琅南塔断裂的新构造运动表现和运动方式。结果表明:(1)琅南塔断裂的新构造活动主要表现为正断层兼左旋走滑运动,为晚更新世活动断裂;(2)沿断裂历史上发生过一系列6级以上地震,特别是2007年5月16日老挝班南坎6.6级地震与该断裂的活动密切相关。
Abstract:
According to the geological and geomorphic characteristics of the Louang Nam Tha fault in Laos and the satellite photograph explanation for it,we studied the neo-tectonic movement behaviors and patterns of the fault.The results show:(1)the neo-tectonic activity of the fault is mainly formal and left-lateral dip-slip,the updated active time is in late-Pleistocene;(2)there were a series of earthquakes with M≥6.0 occurring along the fault,especially the Ban Namkhan,Laos,MS6.6 earthquake on May 16,2007,concerning the activity of the fault very nearly.
