In order to have a further understanding for the distribution of depth of active faults in Kunming,we deployed an EW-trending KM4 exploration line crossing mid-deep layer detection profile in Kunming Basin on the basis of the exploration of shallow seismic reflection.Through the experiment and analysis of the construction parameters,we determined the parameters fit for reflection exploration of Kunming Basin,carried out mid-deep layer seismic reflection exploration(2-3 km effective exploration depth),and gave the spatial relationship of active concealed faults in the deep part and basement of studied area,the location of deep faults,and the relationship between shallow faults and basement faults in the basin.This work provides cherish experiences for exploring active faults in urban and mountainous areas.
