- Abstract:
- Based on the existing time-domain adjustment method,the contribution of the maximum response of increment time history and the sequence of damping-period for adjustment are discussed.An improvement that consider the contribution trend of the maximum response of increment time history and the error sorting are presented.The improved time-domain adjustment method is then applied to the multi-damping target response spectrum fitting for nuclear power plants.Five ground motion records with different temporal and spectral characteristics are selected as seed to investigate the influence of seed selection on generated ground motions.It is suggested that the selection of seed record should consider the dynamic characteristics of the structure to be analyzed.
