- Abstract:
- The International 2016 EMSEV Workshop was held in Lanzhou, China during August 25～29,2016. This paper briefly introduced the Workshop and the seismomagnetic and volcanomagnetic effects. Also,it discussed and looked forward the prospect of the seimomagnetic research. The new progress shows variation characteristics of lithospheric magnetic field before earthquakes and geomagnetic anomalies before volcanic eruption,especially the variation of lithospheric magnetic field achieve good effect in earthquake prediction.
