This paper evaluates the reliability of the long-term,high-accuracy soil hydrogen data observed in the Huoshan Seismic Window area according to the distribution of measurements, and analysis of meteorological influencing factors. The relationship between the hydrogen anomaly and the activity of small earthquakes is preliminarily analyzed in the study area. The results show that the hydrogen concentration in the Tudiling-Luoerling fault has a large precursory anomaly extent, and is sensitive to the seismic activity around the observational sites on the fault, suggesting a better earthquake-precursory efficiency. The metamorphic rocks contain H2-gas sources in the study area.Stress accumulation accelerates the release of H2 in the fault zone, and tensile faults provide a good channel for H2 migration.
