Using a terrestrial laser scanner,we collect the high-precision LiDAR point cloud data of the independent walls of the barely damaged masonry structures of the typical residential houses in rural areas hit by the 2013 Lushan,Sichuan MS7.0 earthquake.Then,on the basis of the standard deviation principle,and using statistical regression method,we process the obtained LiDAR data.We find that the interval of background values of the LiDAR point cloud data is 0-0.45 cm.
