On the analysis of the different block strain calculation formulas,the classic adjust method is used to calculate the strain parameters and their errors using simulation data,and then the difference of these formulas based on different reference surfaces are compared.In this paper,the statistics results are analyzed based on the simulation data of small samples and large samples,and the results reveal the outcomes of these formulas are identical in small area.Their differences are related to the area of region,which are decided by projection error,and they do not relate to the latitude distribution.So,the strain results obtaining from different formulas in small region do not have systemic difference.
