In order to discuss the relationship between the hydrochemistry and CO2 gas release changes of the Xiagei and Tianshengqiao hot springs in Shangrila,Yunnan and their surrounding faults and the Shangrila MS5.9 earthquake in 2013,we compared and stuided the hydrochemistry test results of these two hot springs in 1981,2004,2013,2016 and 2017. Then we analyzed CO2 release gas and source based on gas composition and He and C isotope data of Xiagei and Tianshengqiao hot springs in 2004 and 2017. The results show that Ca2+,Mg2+ and free CO2 concentrations of the Xiagei and Tianshengqiao hot springs is obviously increased then decreased again before and after the Shangrila MS5.9 earthquake. Both the content of CO2 release gas from Xiagui and Tianshengqiao hot springs show high, but it decreased in 2017. The He and C isotopes of both hot springs have characteristics of mantle source.
