- Abstract:
- In this study,we simulate the process of spontaneous rupture of the Ludian earthquake at Baogunao-Xiaohe fault,and discuss the influencing factors of the Ludian earthquake rupture. The results show that the focal mechanism of the left-lateral strike-slip and the magnitude of the Ludian earthquake are mainly affected by the background stress field. The distribution of fault slip is affected by the change of fault geometry,direction and relative size of horizontal stress field. Non-planar complex fault geometry structure causes the complex sliding displacement distribution of the Ludian earthquake.
